Dear Friends and Partners,
As part of the commemorations of the second anniversary of Hurricane Harvey Living Hope Wheelchair Association, and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee and National Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies will be hosting a gathering on Thursday August 29th8 entitled Two years Out: Challenges and Opportunities for Inclusive and Equitable disaster preparedness, response, and recovery in our region.
We will be having a discussion with national experts, community members, City and County officials, academics, NGOs and foundations.
Two years out from Hurricane Harvey, what changes have we made? Are we better more prepared now than two years ago? What lessons did we learn?
Join us as we discuss these and other questions. Here are some details:
